About the Journal

Innovation Science and Technology was founded in 2001. It is a public publication under the authority of Henan Department of science and Technology of Henan Province, sponsored by Henan Provincial Institute of Scientific & Technical Information, and published by Henan Innovation Science and technology magazine and Research Center for Technological Innovation, Tsinghua University. The title was inscribed by Song Jian, who is an Academician of both Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, a former State Councilor, the director of the State Science and Technology Commission and vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee. It has been awarded the honorary title of "first-class journal of natural science of Henan Province" for five times. It has been approved by the provincial and ministerial leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology, State Intellectual Property Office, Chinese Academy of Engineering, Henan Provincial Party Committee, Henan Provincial People's Congress for nearly 40 times, and 35 times by the academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering. The journal is included in CNKI, Wanfang, VIP and other databases.

Purpose and Orientation

Innovation Science and Technology will closely follow the connotation of science, technology and innovation, and explore the relationship between scientific & technological innovation and economic & social development around high-quality economic development. It not only pays attention to the theoretical research of scientific and technological innovation with Chinese characteristics, but also attaches importance to the development of industrial technology, especially researches on the strategy, policy and management to realize technological breakthrough and disruptive technological innovation of bottleneck issues. It emphasizes the application of modern economics and management knowledge system, through the organic combination of natural science, social science and engineering technology, to innovate the theory and method of science and technology management, to scientifically predict and grasp the direction of technological innovation, to design the latest science and technology policy, and to explore the science and technology management mode under the new national system, so as to provide theoretical support and strategic guidance for the scientific and technological innovation of the country, region and various enterprises.
