A Theoretical Framework for Science Fiction Creativity Leading  Technological Innovation: Patterns, Mechanisms, and Risks

Abstract: In the face of the "uncharted territory" innovation predicament in the field of  cutting-edge technologies, science fiction creativity is increasingly becoming an important cul⁃ tural resource for stimulating technological inspiration and shaping forward-looking technological visions. This article aims to clarify the connotation and extension of science fiction creativity, establish a typological analysis framework, identify the typical patterns of science fiction creativ⁃ ity leading technological innovation, analyze the internal mechanism of science fiction creativity  leading technological innovation, extract the main risks of science fiction creativity leading tech⁃ nological innovation, and propose countermeasures and suggestions for the main risks. First, by  integrating the technological society imagination theory and the signal theory, the article defines  science fiction creativity as "a creative knowledge unit that is rooted in scientific logic and sys⁃ tematically imagines and constructs future technological forms and their social embedding in a  narrative and contextualized manner". It also classifies science fiction creativity into four types: rule reconstruction type, boundary dissolution type, negative rehearsal type, and meaning para⁃ digm type. Second, based on the differentiation of dominant entities and the structural character⁃ istics of the system, the article classifies the process of leading technological innovation through  science fiction creativity into three typical models: the national mission-driven model, the enter⁃ prise vision-pushing model, and the community network-emerging model. Third, the article has  constructed a five-dimensional theoretical model of "direction-resource-society-systemecology" for the leading role of science fiction creativity in technological innovation: the direc⁃ tion dimension leads to the cognitive framework of the R&D entities, which belongs to the indi⁃ vidual cognitive level; the resource dimension leads to the allocation mechanism of production  factors, which belongs to the organizational behavior level; the social society dimension leads to  the attitude structure of the public and the market, which belongs to the social psychological  level; the system dimension leads to the formation process of the rule system, which belongs to  the governance structure level; the ecology dimension leads to the network form of multi-party  collaboration, which belongs to the system integration level. Fourth, the article reveals three  types of structural risks: micro-level risks such as rigid contract governance, alienated relation⁃ ship governance, and resistance to autonomy in digital governance; meso-level risks including  cognitive interface breakdown, unfair distribution of benefits, and imbalance in risk assumption; and macro-level risks such as deviation in cross-level transmission, policy conflicts across  types, and dynamic imbalance across periods. Fifth, in response to these risks, the article pro⁃ poses the following countermeasures and suggestions: at the micro level, construct a "contractrelation-digital" tripartite collaborative composite governance framework; at the meso level, build a value creation mechanism for multi-party innovation collaboration; at the macro level, construct a "cross-level-cross-type-cross-period" multi-modal policy combination. The article  provides a new explanatory framework for understanding the cognitive origin of "from 0 to 1"  technological breakthroughs.
