Abstract: Against the backdrop of intensifying global economic fluctuations and the deep inte⁃ gration of the digital economy in the VUCA era, the Industrial Internet, as a core product of the  deep integration of new-generation information technology and manufacturing, serves as both a  critical pathway for achieving intelligent and modernized transformation and upgrading in manu⁃ facturing, and a vital lever for enhancing enterprise competitiveness and resilience. Enterprise resilience, being the core capability to cope with environmental uncertainty, withstand risk  shocks, and support sustainable development, has become a significant strategic issue for ensur⁃ ing national economic security. However, traditional manufacturing enterprises, constrained by  rigid production models and "chain-type" supply chains, face practical difficulties in enhancing  resilience. Whether and how the Industrial Internet can resolve this dilemma requires systematic  examination. Based on dynamic capability theory, this study utilizes a sample of Chinese manu⁃ facturing listed companies from 2013 to 2022 and constructs an Industrial Internet application in⁃ dex by integrating machine learning and text analysis techniques to systematically investigate the  effect of Industrial Internet application on enterprise resilience and its underlying mechanisms. The findings reveal that: ①The application of the Industrial Internet significantly enhances en⁃ terprise resilience. This conclusion remains robust after a series of endogeneity and robustness  tests, including the instrumental variables method, Heckman two-stage model, and propensity  score matching. ②Mechanism tests indicate that dual innovation, enterprise risk-bearing capac⁃ ity, and supply chain collaboration efficiency are three key mediating pathways through which  the Industrial Internet enhances resilience. Specifically, it empowers enterprise resilience in  multiple dimensions by promoting the synergistic development of exploitative and exploratory in⁃ novation, strengthening risk identification and response capabilities, and optimizing supply  chain visibility and collaborative scheduling efficiency. ③Heterogeneity analysis shows that the  positive effect of Industrial Internet application on resilience is more pronounced among enter⁃ prises in central and western regions and smaller-sized enterprises, reflecting its stronger mar⁃ ginal benefits for firms with relatively weaker resources and more pressing transformation needs, thereby providing evidence for formulating targeted support policies. Finally, based on the con⁃ clusions, this paper proposes targeted recommendations from three aspects: First, the government  should optimize the layout of regional internet infrastructure and establish special support funds  to promote the adoption and application of the Industrial Internet in central/western regions and  among SMEs. Second, enterprises should focus on the synergistic enhancement of dual innova⁃ tion and risk-bearing capacity, building a resilience system driven by both "digital twin-supply  chain collaboration". Third, it is essential to promote the construction of a data-trust and  capability-sharing collaborative governance paradigm among upstream and downstream players  in the industrial chain, facilitating a transition from "chain-type contracts" to "ecological sym⁃ biosis" to comprehensively enhance the resilience and security of industrial chains.
